Here’s an exclusive to end the evening. I was speaking to Forgotten Soldiers who were kind enough to lend their time and thoughts about the new Canibus album “Melatonin Magik” which is set to be released in 2010. We have a leaked single from the album which is called “Dead By Design”. It’s the second track we’ve heard from Canibus in as many days, along with the DZK featured diss to Eminem called “Air Strike”. The track was leaked by Canibus on his official website.

Canibus x DZK – Air Strike – Eminem Diss

Dead By Design is the second leak from Melatonin Magik, and is a good representation of the quality we should be hearing from the new album. Canibus has come under pressure from fans to re-create the amazing 2000 B.C and Can-I-Bus albums which were released in 1999 and 2000 respectively. The recent records such as Hip-Hop For Sale and Mind Control didn’t fair as well. You can listen to Canibus – Dead By Design on the player below.

He mentions some really interesting things in here. Obviously Dan Brown was the author of Angels and Demons which is based on the Illuminati. I’m getting hyped for the new album.

Canibus is on an entirely different level than any other m.c. in the game. Poet Laureate Infinity is more than rap. Its a new art form and probably was done more for himself than anyone. He has been 20 years ahead of us for some time now. These 2 tracks sound to me like hes doing this album for the fans. He’s at a point now where he cannot be ignored any longer, and going back at Em. is the perfect way to show the world just how nice he really is.

  4. A.S says:

2000 BC was the one that came out in 2000.

Can-I-Bus was released in 1998 – and was by no means ‘amazing’.

  5. Matty says:

“Canibus has come under pressure from fans to re-create the amazing 2000 B.C and Can-I-Bus albums which were released in 1999 and 2000 respectively. ”

WTF? Has this guy not heard of Mic Club or Rip The Jacker? Who gave two fucks about 2000 BC after hearing that?
