Golden Mic UK 2010 Winner – Matter [News]
The Golden Mic UK battle tournament crowned highly skilled lyricist Matter as the champion of 2010. Fighting off competiton from the likes of Tongue-Tied, Sage and Jimmy Crackstar, Matter has now walked away with a gold plated Shure SM58 microphone and a host of other prizes including a festival appearance. The Golden Mic battle tournament saw eight competitors battle over three heats, and the Leeds-based event also attracted big names including Mystro and Asaviour. Matter is a member of U.K Hip-Hop outfit Verbal Contact, who along with Chenai have released a track called Tourist Information which you can listen to below.
