Hip-Hop Kings ReLaunches New 2011 Forum This Evening [News]
I’d like to take this opportunity to drop some background on Hip-Hop Kings and how we were established. Back in 2004 (yup). Stuart Hallick and I met back on the HipHopDX message boards. Then Stuart launched the brand we all know and love as Hip-HopKings.com on a free proboard forum. After a number of months, Stuart made me a an admin of the forum.
After three seperate occassions of being hacked, we upgraded to a phpBB. Upon discovery we had thousands of sign ups, successful tournaments and a massive outlet for Hip-Hop fans to discuss music, we then created our first website with a full vBulletin forum.
In 2009 a failed backup resulted in me losing data and exclusive interviews with the likes of D12, Professor Green, Plan B, Immortal Technique, Dead Prez and many more. I continued to build again, and now Hip-Hop Kings is re-launching it’s popular forum, once the home of 2DopeBoyz member Shake, and Vonnegutt frontman Kyle Lucas. We’ll have public figures Loose Logic and U.K’s JollyJay sign up, and I hope to see all of you posting on the forums. The forum will be live from 9.00 GMT and I look forward to seeing you there.
