Jay-Z & Kanye West – The Joy Feat. Curtis Mayfield [Music]
Another track from Jay-Z and Kanye West’s (The Throne) forthcoming collaborative album has leaked online.
The track, “The Joy” features Curtis Mayfield and is the third song to be heard from the duo’s album, the first was “H.A.M” and the second was Otis.

Jay-Z & Kanye West - The Joy Feat. Curtis MayfieldWatch the Throne is an upcoming collaborative studio album by American rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West, set to be released August 1, 2011, on Roc Nation and Def Jam Recordings.
The album will be released by Roc Nation and Def Jam Recordings, Jay-Z’s and West’s respective record labels. Its digital release is scheduled for August 1 and its physical release is scheduled for August 5. On July 7, Jay-Z hosted a private listening session at the Mercer Hotel in New York City, previewing songs from the album for reporters and music journalists. The album’s cover and artwork, both designed by Italian designer Riccardo Tisci, were also premiered at the session.
On January 6, West announced via Twitter that “H•A•M”, produced by Lex Luger, as the album’s first single. It was released on January 11, 2011. On July 20, “Otis” was premiered on Funkmaster Flex’s Hot 97 radio show and subsequently spread throughout the Internet. Its cover art was created by Riccardo Tisci.

NaS – More Than I Can Say Feat. Keyshia Cole [Music]
A previously unhead NaS track has hit the net, a collaboration with Keyshia Cole called “More Than I Can Say”.
The song is not thought to be from the rappers forthcoming album “Life Is Good”, instead it has been claimed the song was recorded way back in 2005 and was actually meant for Diddy’s 2006 album “Press Play”, however never made the final cut.

Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones (born September 14, 1973), who performs under the name Nas, formerly Nasty Nas, is an American rapper and actor. The son of jazz musician Olu Dara, he was born and raised in the Queensbridge housing projects in New York City. His debut album Illmatic, released in 1994 by Columbia Records, was critically acclaimed and would go on to be widely hailed a classic in the genre. Nas was part of Hip-Hop supergroup The Firm, which released one album.
From 2001 to 2005, Nas was involved in a widely publicized feud with rapper Jay-Z; both rappers verbally attacked each other in their songs. The two formally ended their rivalry through duet performances at concerts sponsored by New York City-area Hip-Hop radio stations. In 2006, he signed to Def Jam, releasing his albums Hip Hop Is Dead in 2006 and an untitled album in 2008. In 2010 he released a collaboration album with Damian Marley and he plans to release a tenth solo studio album before the summer of 2011. In late may 2011, he revealed the title of his new album as “Life Is Good”.

Rapper Talib Kweli has spoken about Nicki Minaj is a recent interview, saying she has worked hard to get where she is.
The rapper who has just released his album “Gutter Rainbows” spoke about Nicki in an interview with AllHipHop in which he was asked why Nicki had made it so big when her female contemporaries such as Jean Grae are still ‘underground’.
Talib said: “Nicki Minaj is a global star because of Nicki Minaj’s ambition and hustle and drive. It cannot be questioned. Nicki Minaj has been rapping for a long time. She did the whole underground, mixtape circuit for a long time, and she figured out her lane. She created a space that didn’t exist.”
He added: “Whether people like her metaphors or faces she makes, or all that she does, she makes sure that her verse is the most interesting on everything she’s on. Now that’s just her phenomenon.”

Wiz Khalifa Reveals Album “Rolling Papers” Full Details [News]
Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa has revealed the details of his Atlantic debut album “Rolling Papers”.
The “Black & Yellow” emcee revealed the details on UStream yesterday saying that the album would be released in late March as well as revealing the album title as well as confirming the album is finished.
According to HipHopDX the likes of Pharrell and Jim Jonson have all helped produce the record.
