For the constant growing West Yorkshire Hip-Hop scene, nobody is more relevant than Defenders of Style, and their latest mixtape “Dirty Sterling” is once again available for free download. Defenders of Style (Jack Danz, Disgust, Prys, Joe snow, DJ Sirplus) have collectively released the project in an effort to showcase their latest music to the nation. The fourteen track mixtape also includes guest features from the likes of Jack Flash, Matter and Lego amongst other local artists. As the title suggests, Mab Abnoxshuz has teamed up with some great U.K Hip-Hop artists (Ramson Badbonez and Mr 13) amongst others, in an attempt to appeal to an audience across the pond. Mab Abnoxshuz has been featured on Hip-Hop Kings previously, with a collaborative track with Freedom of Press, and his previous mixtape “A Piece of Mind” which you can still view in the Hip-Hop Kings archives. Released today (1st February 2012) via the official Sinoptic Music blog, a number of artists and producers feature on the E.P which is a brilliant showcase of West Yorkshires talent. Another example of a very hard working U.K Hip-Hop artist is Supar Novar, and the North London based rapper has just released his latest mixtape “Here I Am” which is of course available for free download. Mixed by Show N Prove, Supar Novar has collaborated with the likes of Mr 13, Danny Bones, and Big Ben, and guest production comes in the form of Farma G, Dead Man Walkin and Supar Novar himself. Here is Genesis Elijah‘s brand new project “Painkillers and Pilkington” which he has made available as a free download to fans to kick start his 2012. The E.P contains the very popular track “My Truth” (video displayed below) which was credited with thousands of views and also prompted comments from Ricky Gervais via Twitter. Genesis Elijah reported that at least 500 copies were downloaded in the first day, so make sure to grab your copy of Painkillers and Pilkington and share with any U.K Hip-Hop fan. The Los Angeles-based PR firm promoted a number of high profile project from the likes of Murs, Sean Price, Freddie Gibbs, Planet Asia, Moka Only, and more recently the DJ Booth 20/20 series. Dunn Deal have teamed up with DJ Quickie Mart (another client of theirs in 2011) to release a free download to fans in the form of “The Dunn Deal Mixtape V2.012″.
