Yungun – The Good Ones [Music]
Here is a brand new track from Yungun titled “The Good Ones” which is a tribute to two Hip-Hop legelds (Big L and J Dilla) who both passed away in February. As Yungun quotes RZA “It’s always the good ones that have to die” Yungun is in no way using this song for promotional purposes, but only as a tribute to two Hip-Hop pioneers who shaped the industry for the better. Yungun is performing at the J Dilla foundation charity event on Sunday 6th Feb “J Dilla Changed My Life” which is presented by The Doctors Orders in Kings Cross, London. Akir – The Stench (Supporter Sundays) [Music]
Following the news that Akir will be releasing one track every week as part of his “Supporter Sundays” session, we have a new track from last week titled “The Stench”. Hip-Hop Kings posted the first track from Akir titled “Back 2 My Roots” and the reaction from both readers and Akir fans was huge. It’s unclear as to whether these tracks will be officially featured on an Akir project, however at the moment it’s Akir’s aim to spread the music and keep his name revolving around the Hip-Hop world. Twenty-year old Talay Riley will be delighted to know that his recent single “Sergeant Smash” has been A-listed at BBC Radio 1, and to celebrate we have the official remix with U.K Hip-Hop frontman Wretch 32. Talay Riley has already released the video (shown below) for Sergeant Smash, and Wretch 32 jumps on the remix for a spin on the original. Talay Riley was previously featured on Hip-Hop Kings with the video for his single “Humanoid” which was released in Q4 of 2010.
