The bawse Rick Ross has confirmed he will be performing at Proud2 (The o2 Arena) on Monday 2nd April for an exclusive U.K date for his “Rich Forever” tour. Rick Ross requires no introduction, and the Hip-Hop star is set to perform classics “Hustlin” and “Maybach Music” amongst others to a sell-out crowd where tickets are available to purchase now (link above). Following a live show back in November 2011 for the Fresh Kids Club, Savvy (aka Asaviour) is back in Leeds with a live show at Sedgwick Avenue this Saturday (18th) January 2012. With DJ’s TBreaks and 10Tonn on the 1′s and 2′s, Savvy will be playing to a packed out crowd in one of the cities where he is most followed and loved. Hip-Hop Kings are officially sponsoring the event and is another project as part of our collaboration with Sedgwick Avenue for 2012. U.K Hip-Hop artist, actor and writer Adam Deacon will take a lead role in the upcoming U.K movie “Payback Season” as a hot shot Premiership footballer (Jerome). Adam Deacon will star alongside England legend and World Cup Winner Sir Geoff Hurst who plays the role of an England manager, Nicola Burley (StreetDance 3D) and Leo Gregory (Green Street). There is an official Facebook group for Payback Season (listed above) and Hip-Hop Kings will be attending the private screening later this month. Recording artist Harry Shotta has recorded an exclusive track for the movie which will also feature on the soundtrack (LINK). Brother Ali 2012 UK and European Tour
Rhymesayers artist Brother Ali has announced dates for his European and U.K Tour for 2012. Brother Ali has invited special guests Grieves and Budo on the tour, which in total will see the Rhymesayers team visit a total of thirteen cities across eight countries. Fans located in London, Manchester, Bristol and Brighton will be blessed with Brother Ali and Grieves and Budo in May, who then travel to Europe finishing in Norway on 24th May. Brother Ali is also releasing his upcoming album “Mourning in America, Dreaming in Color”, and Grieves and Budo will be touring to support their album release of the critically acclaimed “Together/Apart”. The LP is made available for free download, and has been presented by RubyHornet and 2DopeBoyz who have supported Calez throughout the promotional campaign. The twenty year old underground Hip-Hop artist has caught the eye of many of the major blogs and tastemakers, and 2012 is set to be an exciting year for Calez. Legendary Hip-Hop crew Dilated Peoples have announced their European Tour 2012 schedule, which includes one date in the U.K (London at the o2 Academy in Islington). The twenty-two date tour spans throughout a large portion of Europe, starting with Romania on the 2nd Feb and finishing with Switzerland on 1st March. The Dilated Peoples will be gracing the stage of the o2 Academy in London where tickets are expected to sell fast for the 27th February 2012 date. Souls of Mischief Announce U.K and European Tour in 2012
Known primarily for their critically acclaimed album “93 Til Infinity”, Souls of Mischief are once again returning to the U.K and Europe for a brand new tour starting in March 2012. Hip-Hop Kings previously interviewed Souls of Mischief during their stop in Leeds in 2008, as part of the “Montezumas Revenge Tour” (video below) and Tajal, Opio and Phesto are once again set to amaze crowds with their live performances. As part of the Hieroglyphics crew, and working alongside Hiero Imperium Records, Tajal has recently released his collaborative project “Machine Language” with Sleeprockers. Opio has today released his new album “Vultures Wisdom Vol 2″ and Phesto’s new album “Background Check” drops on March 13th.
