Infamous underground Hip-Hop producer Aesop Rock has announced today he will be releasing his sixth studio album “Skelethon” via Rhymesayers Entertainment. The release date of 10th July 2012 has been set, and I’m expecting a diverse, and aggressive marketing campaign ahead of the album from the Rhymesayers crew. Aesop Rock has made himself a legend in his own right, and has already revealed the tracklisting for the project too. Following from the previous part 1 critically acclaimed Terminal Illness, Endemic is releasing Terminal Illness Part 2 through Money Maker / EMI, and the likes of Masta Killa, Tragedy Khadafi, Ruste Juxx, Killah Priest, Hell Razah, Bronze Nazareth and Cyrus Malachi all feature. No release date or official artwork are available at present, although Hip-Hop Kings will be fully supporting the album release. The news has arrived which the Hip-Hop world has been waiting for. Slaughterhouse (Joe Budden, Royce Da 5’9, Joell Ortiz and Crooked I) have announced their debut album on Shady Records will be titled “Welcome to: Our House” and be available to fans on May 15th 2012. Slaughterhouse will support the album release with a 43-day tour across America. We are expecting European and U.K dates to follow afterwards. We do not have the official artwork for the album yet (watch this space) and no track listing or guest production has been confirmed. Released via his social media websites, Talib Kweli announced today he will be releasing a brand new album in 2012 titled “Prisoner of Conscious”. Details are very vague at the moment, however Talib Kweli also reiterated he wants to release a follow-up Black Star album as well. Difficulties behind the scenes have prevented a Black Star album from being released in 2011, however the latest statement will delight fans who can’t wait to hear new music from the legendary Hip-Hop MC. Underground Hip-Hop group La Coka Nostra have announced the name of their 2012 album “Masters of the Dark Arts”. La Coka Nostra (Ill Bill, Slaine, Danny Boy, Everlast and DJ Lethal) aim to have the album ready, and with fans by Spring of 2012, and the news was originally announced via Ill Bill’s Twitter. Hip-Hop Kings fans will remember the “Heavy Metal Kings” album and tour which featured Ill Bill and Vinnie Paz, and fans will be equally as happy to hear La Coka Nostra will be running an aggressive promotional campaign leading up to the release. We have no guest production or guest appearance details yet, however we’ll be keeping you updated with any news as it comes.
