Taharqa Satti – Transcendence (Video)

 Taharqa Satti - Transcendence

Taharqa Satti – Transcendence

Making his debut on Hip-Hop Kings is North London based artist Taharqa Satti with the video for his single “Transcendence”. Taharqa Satti – Transcendence offers something completely unique and has us excited about hearing music in the future.

It’s incredible to think that this is the start of Taharqa Satti’s journey, with fans urged to remember this is the first video in the public domain. We anticipate looking back at Transcendence in the forthcoming years and remembering that a bar has been set incredibly high for any follow-up work (which inevitably will reach our inbox soon).

If the video isn’t impressive enough, Taharqa Satti produced, mixed and wrote the track himself. Arturo Bandinelli directed the official video which I think you’ll agree did an amazing job, and credits to Ana Beatriz Meireles who also starred in the video. Further credits to “GevArt Films & Snatch Digital” for the production work on the video.

We are keen to share more from Taharqa Satti as it reaches our inbox, but in the meantime make sure you follow Satti on Twitter (@theYYstandout) for the latest music and news.

You can watch the brand new video from Taharqa Satti – Transcendence on the YouTube player below.

Constant Deviants 12 Gauge Rage

We have episode two of Constant Deviants’ “Tre Volte” freestyle series which was shared today for a freestyle titled “12 Gauge Rage”. Constant Deviants 12 Gauge Rage has been uploaded to vimeo and the video serves as promotion for the forthcoming album “Omerta”.

In a very progressive and consistent promotional campaign, DJ Cutt and MI are preparing to release Omerta on June 28th 2016. Their label Six2Six Records will house the album, which is being released alongside the film (also titled Six2Six) which features guest actors Treach (Naughty by Nature), Syleena Johnson and Chief Rocker Busy Bee among others. Constant Deviants 12 Gauge Rage is the second video from their Tre Volte video freestyle series – and hopefully not the last before the album drops next month.

Please check out the previous Constant Deviants music we have shared on Hip-Hop Kings including “Cutt For President” and “Hard on These Streets” which are both promo tracks for the upcoming Omerta album. Constant Deviants also released “So Underated” and gave us an exclusive 25 facts about Constant Deviants Omerta which we published earlier this year. You can also follow the lads on twitter (@CNSTNT_DVNTS) to keep up to date with the latest music and live events. The duo will be in New York during the last week of June meeting media and doing more promo ahead of the album drop, which includes a stop on Sunday 26th on DJ Eclipse’s “Rap is Outta Control” show on Sirius XM. Illerstate Suicide (Video Premiere)

Illerstate Suicide (Video Premiere)

Illerstate Suicide (Video Premiere)

“Somewhere in the underbelly of North Manchester a storm is brewing… A malicious cocktail of raw rap, aggressive beats and big bass has been cooking up and is ready to erupt onto the global hip hop scene.” Illerstate Suicide is the premiere from Hip-Hop Kings.

Illerstate are a three piece hip hop collective hailing from one of the city’s most notorious council estates, Langley. Illerstate Suicide is the latest offering from the Manchester based rap collective.

Bad Newz, Sadiztik and WZ came together from a mutual love of dark and heavy beats, intricate flows and clever word play. With influences from metal and punk to trap and dubstep, their unique brand of intense and energetic hip hop has gained them a solid fan base across the UK, gaining support from industry taste makers such as BBC 1xtra’s DJ Semtex. With regular play on Chanel AKA the group became a mainstay in the UK urban scene and anticipation has been high for their latest slab of dopeness “Evilution EP”. The EP sees the Illerstate boys return to fine form with neck snapping beats and bone rattling bass mixed with their dark humour and cleaver word play.

With all production handled in house it’s clear to see why the Illerstate boys are fast gaining the hype and recognition they deserve and stand out as leaders of the pack!” We have featured Illerstate before and are more than stoked that they are bringing out yet more material! This is that raw UK hip hop and there is much more to come from the boys.

Be sure to check back here for our interview with them on their new material as they look to support the mighty Iron Man Ghostface Killah on 10th May! You can watch the new video from Illerstate Suicide on the YouTube player below.

This is the latest track from WY artist Lunar C titled “Phil Mitchell”. Lunar C Phil Mitchell is available to watch on YouTube (player below) or through Lunar C’s soundcloud page (CLICK HERE).

Lunar C has teamed up with long time friend and producer Hashfinger for Phil Mitchell, which has been supported by the likes of SBTV and of course Hip-Hop Kings. There’s no word on whether Lunar C is preparing to drop a new project. We do know that he’s singed with Sway’s Dcypha label and featured on the track with KSI titled “Smoke and Mirrors“. We anticipate that Lunar C Phil Mitchell is the track to keep fans entertained while we await confirmation for a new project.

We tried to get an interview with Phil Mitchell to ask about his reaction to the Lunar C track. Unfortunately, he didn’t seem impressed. We managed to film Phil and upload it to our Vine channel (@HHKMag) which you can watch on the Vine player below. Please be aware that Phil Mitchell had been drinking but there are no explicit words or language used.
