R.I.P Eyedea (One Year Anniversary) DJ Critical Hype and Hip-Hop Kings Eyedea Tribute Mixtape
A man who knew the late Micheal “Eyedea” Larsen very well is C-Rayz Walz, and the underground Hip-Hop artist has released his tribute video to Eyedea titled “Blvck Rosaries (Celebrate)”. C-Rayz Walz has collaborated with Freddie Bunz for the track, which is set to make its rounds on the Internet and across the blogosphere in the forthcoming days. Hip-Hop Kings previously teamed up with DJ Critical Hype for an un-official Eyedea tribute mixtape which has been co-signed by DJ Abilities, and we also posted a Copywrite tribute to Eyedea called “Numb”. I have a brand new promotional skit video from De La Soul’s Plug 1 and Plug 2 from their forthcoming album “First Serve” called “We Made It”. The skit is synonymous with De La Soul fans, who will be more than familiar with the likes of “The Goon Time Mixtape” and of course “”Mrs Whitter”as well. The new album “First Serve” comes from Plug 1 (Pos) and Plug 2 (Dave’s) motto “First come, first serve, get what you deserve” and will be available to buy via Duck Down Records on April 2nd 2012. Fokis – #Salute (King Tee) [Music]

Not so long ago I posted a new Fokis track called #JustSayin which is featured on his forthcoming “AVintage State of Mind” project that will be available to download on 21st February 2012. Fokis returns with the second leaked track from the project titled #Salute (King Tee), which as the title suggests pays homage to the West Coast artist. Fokis revists King Tee’s classic “Act a Fool” for his own version of the track, and furthermore announces that King Tee himself will be featuring on “A Vintage State of Mind”. After releasing previous singles “Neva Blink” and “West London” Hip-Hop artist Reveal returns with the official video for his single “Warning”. The track has been produced by Paris based Mahdyar Aghajani, and features on Reveal’s upcoming seven track E.P “Seven Shades” which is available to fans on the 7th February 2012. Making their debut on Hip-Hop Kings is New Orleans-based Hip-Hop duo Harn SOLO and Lyriqs Da Lyraciss with their new video for the single “The Grind”. Credits go to Ben Simmons who has directed the video, which is the title track from their latest collaboration album (link above). Both MC’s have a wide range of credentials including solo projects and live performances with the likes of Raekwon, Mickey Factz and Mac Miller amongst others. One of the best Hip-Hop albums of 2011 was Evidence’s “Cats and Dogs”. Released through Rhymesayers Entertainment, the album was commercially Evidence’s best to date, and the hype surrounding the release was typical of an RSE project. Evidence has now released the video for the single “Falling Down” which has been featured on the biggest of Hip-Hop blogs and websites in the last couple of days. Evidence called upon Todd Angkasuwan for the video (directors credits) and also look out for Babu who makes an appearance in the video. Most Hip-Hop fans will know Kinetik from the U.K Hip-Hop duo “Grand Central”, however as I announced last year, Kinetik and Mr Drastick decided to work on their solo projects.
