actually jay-z did that, an the album was not bad at all. but lol u guys cant hate on tupac when i very much doubt he would have made this decision if he was alive, to collab with elton...
naww... im not hating on pac for this, shit im not even hating on the track... but i am finding humour in it.
and it was Danger Mouse who mixed jay z's black album with the Beatles "White Album"
resulting in "Grey Album" a mix of Jay-Z lyrics with samples from the 68 classic
he remixed Beatles tracks "Helter Skelter," "Back in the U.S.S.R." and "Piggies," stripping out the vocals and creating samples and loops that barely resembled the original, with lyrics from J tracks like "99 Problems,"
The Beastie Boys did it first tho with "Paul's Boutique" which had samples from Johnny Cash, Bob Marley and The Beatles (which would cost multi millions now--and barely cost shit then.. but since that album, sampling became really popular, and the prices rose)
shit snoop sampled the doors... its all been done. but i still find Pac E.J. as a collab, amusing.
