The G-Unit just got smaller. 50 Cent announced Monday night (February 28th) that the Game has been excommunicated from the crew because he feels the Compton rapper isn't loyal.

On New York radio station Hot 97, 50 told DJ Funkmaster Flex he was disappointed with comments Game made on the station Saturday night, when the West Coast MC revealed he would not be getting involved in the beefs 50 is stirring up with "Piggy Bank"

According to Flex, Game even said he was going to do a song with Nas. "He's gone," 50 scoffed. "He might as well make the record."

50 also said Game should stop saying "G-Unit." "He thinks he's doing me a favor when he says that."

During his conversation with Flex, 50 claimed Interscope was going to drop the Game until 50 stepped in and got involved with The Documentary. 50 also insisted that he's making more money off The Documentary than Game is, and that he wrote more choruses than he's credited for.

Believe it or not, Game was on Hot 97 earlier in the evening, talking to host Angie Martinez. When listeners called in to ask about his and 50's problems, Game simply said he was going to continue to make "good music." Two nights prior, Game had said on-air that he and 50 did not have to be friends as long as they worked toward that same common goal: making good music.

For weeks there'd been rumors of friction within the G-Unit camp, but they'd always downplayed or outright dismissed the talk, and they even held it together long enough to shoot a joint video for The Documentary's "Hate It or Love It," which debuted Monday on "TRL."

A rep for Interscope had no comment on the implosion.

did anyone watch the interview on mtv? 50 said he's gettin at joe and jada cuz they colaborated with ja, so ( as the tv interview said, quote : in fifty's eyes, they are picking sides) 50 is doing what he thinks is right, and, i know jada is the better lyricist, but, 50 said in the interview jada and joes albums together sold about 1 mill, while fifty on the other hand, sold 11 mill, plus what he did on beg for mercy, and his latest release. 50 said he can end they're careers if thats what they want. and, becuase of how popular he is, this is very possible. jada can obviously destroy fifty lyricaly, but to alot of people, its 50 cent vs. jadawho? in the interview fifty says jada and joe are nothing to him. record sold wise, thats true. popular wise, also true. not lyrically, but these day people throw on some 50 cent and think they are the shit, without even bothering listening to the lyrics.

esp since they dont depend on the general public to feed their careers-- esp jada... hes got a career, and like you said, not many ppl within the mainstream knows who he is. But, if he rips 50-- and does it well, i mean really well, all these newbie-semi-quasi-pseudo hip hop fans, will get 8 Mile flashbacks and think hes the shit, and will start cheering him on.
Seriously, i think this can only help jada's career-- not hurt it.

and as far as Joey Crack goes--- well, ppl underestimate him...

i agree. he cant end their careers. jadakiss came on one of our local radio station saying that this is what he needed. he's beefing with the most popular man in the rap game and if he wins he's coming out on top. if jada comes out with a track better than piggybank ( which i dont doubt) and wins, d-block is gonna be selling alot of records. as for joe, i really cant say anything about him. if he gets into battle with fifty, sadly i must say i think g-unit will win that one. nas said he wont reply unless fifty tries to get at him again. shyne is in prison, no word from him yet.

Jada plans on responding with his own diss record...


"This is the best thing that could have ever happened to us," Jada explained earlier this week. "I don't know what's wrong with 50. But I thank him for the opportunity to [let me] air his ass out."

Jadakiss also shows some financial interest, "As long as we do it right, we can't go wrong from this. I can sell, I can make Styles' album double platinum alone just off this whole thing. My album sales for Kiss of Death is gonna start going up off this whole thing. It's just swinging the momentum our way, which we needed."

When asked about his reaction to Piggy Bank, Kiss is quick to answer "when I heard 'Piggy Bank,' I was happy," Kiss laughed. "I felt way worse when I heard [Beanie] Sigel's [diss] record [a few years back]. 'Piggy Bank' was funny to me. He's gotta have something else. That can't be it, it's garbage! I guess it was just a jab. But the power punch I'm gonna give him, that wasn't the right arsenal to start off the fight with."

Jada's response should be released on mixtapes in the next few days
