OMG!!! History is my fave song by Verve--- it was the song i listen to all the time when im depressed.
So much so, that ppl would call me, recognize the song and ask whats wrong.

Actually Northern Soul was such a great album, and really didnt get much recognition here as a sophomore attempt.
Storm in Heaven was a great shoegazer debut... and then Urban Hymns broke them into the mainstream-- and I got bitter.
lol, I felt like ppl were perverting my 'escape route' or something-- like they didnt kno what the music meant! lol--- i could be such an elitists at times...

Anyway, Richard Ashcrofts solo attempt was also amazing, i recommend checking it... he just has such a painful, yet soulfoul voice-- but not in a rnb way, in a whining way-- but a good one.
