I love this topic...hilarious how people say they want the old em, etc. Ok if he did release another Slim Shady EP there would be just as many people wanting him to be serious. When you're that high on the ladder you can't please everyone. Eminem is doing eminem. Not trying to please people, he's doing what HE wants and that should be the way EVERYONE does music. People are saying this album is trash. Compared to what? His other albums? Ok then yeah, it's HIS weakest effort. But put it up against 95% of the mainstream albums out and he will be in the top. Sorry.

IMO Encore is weak as hell, I only felt 3 tracks...But Eminem is a fukkin clown...In a interview, he stated that he doesnt make the decision on what type of songs he puts out or create, he said it's a "marketing" decision...what a fukkin clown...Eminem Show IMO was his best album..."Sing For The Moment", "Cleaning Out my Closet", "Superman", "White America", "Without Me"...and the 8 Mile Shit was nice...I have nothing against him, its just the fact when I heard that, I lost respect for him, he's letting Dre control him basically...And the "better than most of the mainstream" shit is a weak excuse...Yeah, look at the MAINSTREAM! Why should he put out ass albums? Nas didnt get the same treatment when he released "I Am" and "Nastradamus", his career almost died...And "I Am" is better than Encore...Eminem needs to stop following and set trends and rebel...Or he'll become another example of a exceptional lyricist who sold out and became pimped by the industry...

so many contradictions in this post. At some points people say they want the old Em back and then other times they say they want something new. What is it?I would say the Eminem Show was the best because it has deeper meaning then the stuff he did before(often rhyming words for the sake of it). All his albums are a cut above alot of other rappers like M.S said so I wudnt blame him for tying new shit. If he cant right some funky jokey shit like Rainman or Puke and still sell millions of records then why not, hes doing what he wants and writing how he feels.Its not the same but its not entirely different, to be honest I would say encore is a mix between his serious (Mosh,Like Toy Soldiers,Mokingbird) and comical side (puke,1st single, just lose it,rainman etc). And as he said its guna be his last album its probably the best way to round up his career witha bit of everything.

Personally i dont listen to anything Post Marshall Mathers Lp i Think hes just to comercial these days i mean What The Fuck Was Just Lose It Where is that Anger Eminem Used To Have In My Opinion the thing that made Marshall Mathers Lp So Great Was The Balnce Between Humour And A Song With A Message MAybe He will stick to Producing But Lets Hope He brings It back To MM Lp on the next Album -Peace-
