more than likely this is when the rematch is going to take place. both fighters are WANTING to get back in the ring against each other ASAP. Taylor who has been saying he holds alot of respect for Bernard Hopkins (as does everyone who knows boxing) said he learned alot from the split decision fight that landed him as the Undisputed Middleweight Champion Of The World. Where as Bernard has been saying he feels he out fought Taylor and actually wont the title but the judges thought otherwise. Hopkins has accepted this and is said to be not waiting to see when the rematch will actually be set but already looking at the tapes of the fight and starting to prepare for the rematch. Most people agree that Hopkins won the fight even though the Judges thought otherwise. But to both of the Fighters it no longer matters.. they are each looking forward to getting back in the ring for the rematch to see which one will win.

If Hopkins wins the rematch expect in the future a Rubber match between him and Taylor even if Hopkins doesnt have a title. I only saw clips of the fight but from what I saw it was a hell of a boxing match.

Hopkins is getting old, but i'll think he'll take it. I was so shocked when he lost.

Oscar.. hes 33... be 34 by the time he gets back in the ring...

his record is.. 37 Wins, 4 Losses, 29 Knockouts

which is damn good for a dude his age.. cant wait till he climbs back in.

hopkins record is

46 Wins, 3 Losses, 1 Draw, 1 No-contest, 32 Knockouts

which Oscar's last fight was against Hopkins in which Hopkins knocked him out in the 9th round back in 2004...

i am a fountain of boxing knowledge. :D

the hype of the rematch has begun... Taylor's now talking smack and telling Hopkins just to take his loss like a man and Hopkins filed an appeal... yeah the hype of the rematch has begun.
