m.S. - Was nice text was really nice, the explosion No, Mase looks alright all nicely blended ect ect ect.
Shifty - Gotta admit youve improved but the text was aweful. Need to work on that alil.

lmao no offense stu but i think no-matter who m.S battles you will always vote for him.
being honest as this is a graphics battle, shifty won this.
m.S: the colour scheme was bland, nothing particularly special. The picture of the nuke explosion in background jus looked like a big clove of broccli to me. Your text on the other hand was fuckin sick, i really liked that effect either side of it, nice stuff
shifty: your text sucked ass, but your picture was sharp and the idea of the steam engine was original. i especially liked the steam coming from the train, i thought that added awesome effect.
if you take m.S text an shiftys design that would be a sick cover. but otherwise this cover was weak from m.S IMO, an shifty was better graphically so

I have voted against m.S. in battles etc in the past.
Even in the GFX tourny.

All you gotta do is tell him what you hate and what you like. You dont have to do a essay, just keep your feed basic, surely you can do that dude :confused:. Its better than just voting, how are people suppose to get better without decent feed ??:confused:
I didnt like his blending, selection of picture, or his font.

the point is it COULD have been bland-- being all one shade (basically).. but it wasnt. it had dimensions.
I liked it..
(didnt like the explosion tho... agree that font was great... and liked the 'orange' ha)

I like the "lil jon" font.. but i dont like the rest.. nor the doubling.
the background effect is NOT necessary.. barely notice theres a train there.
the train is a good idea.. but .like i said...
Little jon isnt properly blended.. stands out to much.. looks glued on top of a picture
and the bg colour and the train colours clash..

m.S - I thought it was very good (would we expect anything less tho?), even with the explosion! The only thing i think looks a bit odd is the positioning of the text in the top corners, but that doesn't make it look anything less than what it is.
Shify - I did really like the concept and idea of yours, i think if you came up in a battle against anyone else you would be more evenly matched. I liked the positioning of both Lil Jon and the Train. The only thing was the text didnt stand out enough. But it was a very good piece.

I am with m.S. aswell.
only i tell him that stuff myself-- cuz he actually takes his criticism received and works with it--- one of the reasons why hes THAT gfxdesigner/artist.
Gotta try not to catch feelings-- altho, i kno its hard.. cuz its "your" work. and you need to stand behind it.. and defend it.
But, in all honesty- i didnt like the shifty drop.
I thought it was too busy.

ok well i dont mean to be a tyteass but i dont really like either. but since i hav to choose i choose m.s.
m.s- i hav to agree wit evry1 and say: xplosion=NOOOOO!!!!. not really feelin the orange too much either, but the swirl brush is ok, but excess inglow/satin on the text, and more work needed on the top text. levels are 'ok'
shifty- work on ur levels/bright-contrst and 'liven' up jon. take the weird clown font off the train. and fix up the blendin at the back of the train. also u need to step ur game up on ur fonts. but i must admit u are gettin better, but the bottom line is u both could do MUCH better than wot u did.
sorry for soundin like such a hater, i know when ppl critic my work it pisses me off for a few hours. but then i think about how i can make em become my client! =D and take their comments into my next drop...jus think about it......

ok ive yet to vote.. and im not going to vote... cuz well everyone else has already voted on this so ima say my thoughts...
m.S. the explosion makes mase look funny.. seriously. the colors are nice and the blending is nice but for some reason (i can only think of the explosion) mase comes off looking out of place... i wonder what that would look like without the explosion... can you take out the explosion and post it up? cuz i seriously wanna know if its the explosion that makes me look at that cover and see mase as out of place in the picture.
shifty lil jon is not blended down enough. for thE position you have him in. maybe try blending the edge of him in so that its like hes fading to the front of the cover? the crunk express text is just no... and the dual saying of The Crunk Express is no too.. just needed to put it once on there. the Lil Jon text is nice but maybe try splashing a color into it or something.. and the train was a nice concept but you could pulled it off better.. i mean theres way too much smoke coming off of that.. trains havent put out that much smoke since the 1950s dude.. and i dont see Lil Jon taking a 1950 locomotive as the crunk express.. as i said its a nice concept and tweaked a little bit it would be a nice cover.
and lexx.. its a terrabyte.. 1000gigs... bastard... *taps m.S.* thats on my christmas list... so cmon... stop singin slug if i was santa claus and be fucking SANTA claus and send me one of those!!!
