To kick off Thursday morning I would like to share a free album “The Passion Project” from an artist called The Original Man. I’ve had the good fortune to preview the album and given the opportunity to share the download link with fans. The wait is finally over as Cyrus Malachi releases his new mixtape “The Isis Papers”. Presented by No Cure Records, The Isis Mixtape has been mixed and cut by DJ Switch and DJ Furious P, and is available to fans as a free download. Production on The Isis Papers comes from the likes of Endemic, Beat Butcha and Jon Phonics, whilst guest appearances feature Melanin 9 amongst others. Cyrus Malachi will be hosting an in-store event in Nottingham at OhMyGosh Records which free beers and drinks for fans. It’s always nice to feature female artists on Hip-Hop Kings, and Stud Phamous is also a long-standing member of the forum which produced talents such as Kyle Lucas and Loose Logic. Stud Phamous presents “Ladies Love Cool Phame” which title was inspired by LL Cool J. The eleven-track mixtape features various different artists and producers, and is a combination of hard work and skill from Stud Phamous. Once in a while comes something that restores your faith in Hip-Hop. That release has arrived in the form of this great collaboration project from Huddersfield based producer Miss Tofelees and North Wales rapper Big Si. After impressing the underground UK scene with their ‘Life and Music EP’ at the start of the year the dynamic duo are now back with Part Two. ‘Life and Music 2 EP’ features the amazing vocal talents of Belinda Hards of Knew Jeruslum who are part of DTTS (Dont Talk to Strangers) a Hip-Hop collective from West Yorkshire who where nominated for ‘Best Hip-Hop Act’ at the Indie Hip-Hop Awards in 2008.
