Hip-Hop Kings has been established since 2004, however due to a failed backup, I lost all the data leading up to 2009. I've restored as much as possible, and launched a blog style resource for new Hip Hop music for 2010 and beyond. My name is Ryan Maxwell and you're welcome to contact me if you're an upcoming rap artist, or a publicist looking to promote your client.
Early in 2010 I posted a video of underground Hip-Hop artist D Julien recording a freestyle in the Fat Boy Radio studio. D Julien has now released an unheard freestyle from the same studio session. D Julien is preparing the release of his newest project “Ready For Tomorrow” which I anticipate will be a free download available to fans soon. In the meantime you can watch the D Julien – Unreleased Fat Boy Radio Freestyle below.
Fresh music after D Julien celebrated his 19th birthday, “The Nineteenth Lap” is aptly titled, and starts the promotion for his upcoming mixtape “Ready For Tomorrow” which will be available this summer. D Julien also launched a brand new website on July 20th which gives fans more opportunities to interact and follow D Julien. You can listen to D Julien – The Nineteenth Lap on the player below.
I haven’t heard from D Julien in a few weeks, and what a way to return with the new freestyle for BarrelHouse.TV. D Julien is also releasing his new mixtape “Ready For Tomorrow” this summer, which is set to present new and unheard music from D Julien. Quotes like “That internet be having people think you famous. Hop up on that street and people treat you like you nameless” reminds fans why D Julien is so well liked. You can watch the new D Julien freestyle for BarrelHouse.TV below.

It’s great to see two hard-working entities come together to form something excellent. Frequent readers and viewers of Hip-Hop Kings will be fully aware of D Julien, an underground Hip-Hop artist I’ve supported since the first time I received his music. And my good friends over at Good*Fella Radio constantly provide entertaining freestyles and interviews that are shared on the blog. The two combine at Rutgers University where D Julien and Justin D Live speak about the music, the blogosphere and much more. You can watch the Good*Fella Radio interview with D Julien on the video player below.
2009 was a great year for D Julien. The promotion continues with a video from the studios of Fat Boy Radio, as D Julien dropped a two minute off the dome freestyle. D Julien has won fans over with his music, and two examples are “Prove Them Wrong” and “Never Change”. You can watch the new D Julien – Fat Boy Radio Freestyle on the video player below.

We’ve grabbed another great track from underground Hip-Hop artist D Julien which is titled “Prove Them Wrong”. The name of the producer is Buzz, who D Julien recommends very highly. Continuing strongly from his coverage in XXL mag, D Julien proves to be consistently excellent with his tracks, which should hopefully leave him in high praise leading into 2010. You can listen to D Julien – Prove Them Wrong on the player below.
D Julien has taken a classic Jay-Z beat in the form of “Never Change” and re-worked the song for the DJBooth.Net freestyle series.
