The Hip-Hop world will be fully aware of the Ruby Hornet / DJ RTC project “Closed Sessions Volume One” which proved to be a massive hit across America and the U.K. The new video for “Happiness Before Riches” was shot in Austin, Texas. Whilst recording with Freddie Gibbs, GLC mentioned that Bun B was on his way to Austin and had agreed to shoot the music video. As Hip-Hop Kings previously reported, three major industry figureheads have combined to form the Chicago-based “Closed Sessions“. The first project is appropriately titled Closed Sessions Vol.1, with the tracklisting leaking onto the Internet. I have the first single from the project by Bun B and GLC and is called Happiness Over Riches. Rumour has it that Closed Sessions Vol 2 is already in the works, with artists who are attending the SXSW Music Festival in Texas.
