Update On The London Bombing
Published on 10 June, 2005Email To Friend

After the tragic events experienced over the past few days, the residents of London have vowed not to let this attack get to them, and return to work like a regular day. The Queen, who stated “They will not change our way of life”, made the call for civilians to “be strong”.

The death toll has now risen to 50, while many residents are still frantically searching for their loved ones. Hospital switchboards and police telephones have being constantly ringing throughout the past 24 hours, regarding families issuing missing reports.

Rumours have risen that the terrorists are directly linked to those who carried a similar attack in Spain. However, detectives from the police force can now analyse the type of bombs used, and the strategy of the terrorists, and identify a particular group who could be held responsible.

It’s reported that the police forces are studying the CCTV that was captured in the past 24 hours. There are 6,000 CCTV camera’s located in the London Underground, with a further 2,000 in the locations of the bombings.
