Kanye West’s new album Late Registration leaked onto the internet last week, but the album which is only a week a way from release, is still anticipated to be one of the most successful albums of the year.

Reviewers are raving about the album already, splashing the 5 Mic status, which has upset a few fans. How can a hyped album receive a classic rating when it hasn’t even being released yet? Do these reviewers consider they are comparing this album to the likes of  Ready To Die, All Eyes On Me and Marshal Mathers LP?

August 30th is the release date, stores are ordering high levels of stock to ensure they don’t sell out on the day. Various stores are predicting sales to be as drastic as 50 Cent’s “The Massacre”, which broke records by selling 1 million copies in a short week. Kanye has being perceived as an average emcee at most,  and this album is the chance to prove to the critiques his lyricism levels can match the quantity of sales.
