Redman Is Back!
Published on 04 September, 2005Email To Friend

Def Jam rapper Redman is back with his new single, Rush The Security is not your typical club anthem. Redman shows some complex lyricism, along with his standard unique punchlines, to create a track that looks promising for his upcoming album “Red Gone Wild”, which is expected to hit the stores early October.

The director of the video (J. Jesses Smith), packed two days of filming into one single day. Smith was picked for directing the video, and has also worked with previous hit videos including the 2001 action flick, Crime Partners as well as DMX's "We Right Here," Wu Tang's "Pinky Ring" and Jadakiss' "We Gon Make It" among others.

"Most prices that we put on [videos], like $300,000... That's not what it cost us [today]. Talent is what it cost us." This was made apparent by the professionalism maintained on the set.
