A statement was released by Game and Aftermath Records today, declaring that the West-Coast rapper's second album “The Doctor's Advocate” will be pushed back to a late summer release. An official date hasn't been set, but Game has been talking about the effort himself, and the list of producers have been putting into the project.

"My second album is the highest anticipated record coming out this year and I've been spending long hours in the studio to make sure it a classic," Game said in a statement. "Look out for my masterpiece late summer."

The initial release date was June 6th, and fans will be disappointed to learn it wont hit stores for at least a couple of months. Many are questioning the move, concluding that Game followed the decision of rival 50 Cent, and wishes to once again release his album at the same time. Game's previous album was executivly produced and co-wrote by 50 Cent, however the G Unit rapper has no involvement on this project.

There has been no official track listing for the album yet, however the production line up has been confirmed. The project will include Dr. Dre, Just Blaze, Scott Storch, Kanye West and Timbaland behind the boards. Collaborations haven't been confirmed either, however new label mate Cyssero is expected to feature on the album.
