News Back To Archives News   Prev    Next Gillie Da Kid The Victim Of A Recent Shootout Published on 20 June, 2006 Email To Friend  A member of Philadelphia based rap group "Major Figgas" was shot at by gunmen last week. Luckily, "Gillie Da Kid" was rushed to hospital and is now recovering. Gillie was reported walking to his car late in the evening, and shots were aimed at the rapper. He quickly tried to get into the car, however he was hit twice in the arm and once in the leg. He was taken to Einstein Hospital later that evening. The authorities involved with the case are working hard to track suspects, and encourage anybody who may know anything about the shooting, to step forward. Unfortunately the case isn't going too well, and thats down to Gillie's lack of co-operation. This is the second shooting in Philadelphia in recent weeks. Last month Beanie Sigel was shot in the arm during a failed robbery.
