However, a recent statement from Crystal owner Federic Rouzard said the rap community's support was "unwelcome attention." Jay-Z has immediately stopped selling Cris at his 40/40 club in New York, and will edit all Crystal-referring lyrics from his songs. Fans and friends have supported the decision, and Jay-Z couldn't have benefited more. "The response from our customers at 40/40 has been incredible," Jay-Z said in a statement. "This weekend, we sold more bottles of Krug and Perrier Jouet than [ever] and we expect that trend to continue. They are great products and we are glad they have embraced us with open arms." "You can bet that Cristal will not be in Jay's lyrics on Sunday," Ron Berkowitz, Hov's spokesman, added. "What will replace it, only he knows at the time, because he rhymes on the fly - so don't be surprised to hear something different." Jay-Z's sold out 10th Anniversary celebration concert will be held at NYC' s Radio City Music Hall on June 25th.
