DMX..In Trouble? Not Again
Published on 22 June, 2006Email To Friend

The headlines are becoming humourous, however rap-star DMX (real name Earl Simmons) has been caught with possession of a handgun, outside a club in Scottsdale, AZ recently. The reporter (The Arizona Republic, X), described the incident leading to the altercation. Authorities apparently saw X withdraw the weapon from it's holster, and watched as he placed it on the floor of his 1964 Chevrolet convertible.

"He had the (convertible) top down, the cops were right in the area, and they saw him take out the gun and put it under the front seat," Scottsdale Police Detective Sam Bailey told The Republic. DMX was then disciplined for not holding a lisence to store a weapon under the seat of his car. Luckily, for DMX, no arrest was made.

The news comes as not suprising for fans and critiques alike. In the past two months, DMX has been arrested for disrupting a flight and has been ticketed for two different violations including driving unsafely without a license and causing an accident by driving on the shoulder of a road.
