News Back To Archives News   Prev    Next Busta Rhymes Arrested Published on 22 August, 2006 Email To Friend  Aftermath rapper Busta Rhymes was arrested shortly after his performance at the Heineken AmsterJam concert, for assaulting a fan who had allegadly spat on his car. Busta Rhymes' crew were also arrested, as they participated in the attack. Details of the arrest are still sketchy, however authorities questioned Busta for up to five hours, as they used the arrest as a perfect chance to interegate Busta about the shooting of his life-long friend and bodyguard Isreal Ramirez. Ramirez (29) was shot during the set of Busta's music video Touch It (Remix). Ramierz' sister made a brief statement regarding the shooting back in February. "I understand the code of the streets, [but] they're probably just very afraid for themselves and their families," Ramirez said. "We're not doing well. Our family is destroyed. We're not going to be complete again...especially during the holidays. There is definitely going to be an empty seat at this table."
