Foxy Brown spoke out at a press conference held at Brown Memorial Baptist Church, Brooklyn to discuss her recent arrest last week. She confronted supporters at the conference.

Foxy was charged with battery and resisting officer with violence, after a dispute in a beauty store, Queen Beauty Supply Store. She was released on bond after she violated her parole on numerous accounts.

"For the last week, I have been vilified in the media as assaulting a store owner..." Brown said. "...The only crime I am guilty of committing is being a young black female celebrity in Broward County."

Brown made a scathing attack on the Police Department. She also claims the store owner is using the claims for financial gain.

"I am the victim of an overzealous police department who engaged in police brutality and a money hungry store owner whose motives are for me to pay his mortgage on his house and his children's tuition," Brown said.

Foxy claims her innocence, and the charges will be filed soon. Brown is also working on her new album, Black Roses.
