Jay-Z Prepares American Gangster

Jay-Z Prepares American GangsterJay-Z is back again, and he has announced that he will release a album, with all new material in November called American Gangster. Jay-Z's version is seperate from the motion picture soundtrack, but this is Hova's interpretation of the movie. The film stars Denzel Washington, Russel Crowe, Cuba Gooding Jr, RZA, T.I., Ruby Dee, Common amongst others.

The movie, American Gangster is based on a true story, on the life of Frank Lucas, played by Denzel Washington. Lucas rises to the top of the drug trade in Harlem in 1970 by using coffins of Vietnam veterans to smuggle drugs into the country.

American Gangster is directed and produced by Ridley Scott, and produced by Brian Grazer. The movie is set to open in theaters on November 2nd.

The first single from Jay-Z's album will be called Blue Magic according to sources. It will feature various producers including Pharrell Willaims, and will be in stores on November 6th.
