Recent rumours have been squashed by Jay-Z representatives, that the rap superstar and R'n'B singer Beyonce Knowles have secretly got married in Paris, France.

A number of gossip sites and sources have reported the rumour for months, and that the couple have been married in various locations. The latest in a line of rumours is that Hov and Beyonce got married in early December whilst celebrating Jay-Z's 38th birthday in France.

The report stated that the couple got matching tattoos with inscriptions on their fingers, instead of the traditional exchange of rings. But a representative for the rapper squashed the rumours and dismissed the continued speculation as untrue.

“They are not married,” a close member of Jay-Z’s inner-circle told press yesterday.

In 2005, Beyonce denied the rumours in a high profile feature in Vanity Fair, and in 2006 Jay-Z dimissed rumours that the couple got married at Martha's Vineyard during the July 4th holiday.
