News to excite the Hip-Hop world can’t get much bigger than this. News surfaced that Illmind and Duck Down Records’ Skyzoo are releasing a collaborative album called “Live From The Tape Deck” which will be available in October through Duck Down Music. To kick off the promotion, the leaked track from Skyzoo and Illmind is called Frisbees, and it’s expected to be heard across the radio waves in the U.K and U.S throughout the next few weeks. One of the best gigs of the month is set to be presented by Urban Development, and is called Re-Definition. With artists featuring such as Devlin, Ghetts and Shola Amma performing on Thursday 22nd July at the Theatre Royal Stratford East in London. Making his debut on Hip-hop Kings is Sam Adams with his G Curtis-featured track called Still I Rise. The track will appear on the physical copy of “Boston’s Boy” which will be available at all major U.S retailers including FYE and Best Buy from July. Very recently I posted the trailer to DJ Muggs and Ill Bill‘s new track “Cult Assassin” which sparked a lot of interest in their upcoming album “Kill Devil Hills”. As we come to the end of quite an aggressive marketing campaign, Ras Kass releases a new video ahead of the album ADIDAS which is set to be available at the end of July. In the video below, Ras Kass is seen unboxing the Goldyn Chyld 2 Vinyl and announcing the release date of the highly anticipated album. As we progress through the summer, twenty-eight year old Doom Man is preparing to release his single “Don’t Talk to Me” this August. Doom Man is the founder of his own label Onslaught Recordings, and the single has been produced by Chicago’s “Yo Nurican”. The single from Doom Man is getting support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, 1xtra, Choice FM, Kiss 100 and Rinse FM.
