It was fair to say that Rhymefest‘s album “El Che” was one of my personal favourites of 2010. Rhymefest is back with a brand new video for his single Mermaid which sounds completely different to anything I’ve heard from him before. There’s no word on whether Rhymefest will be working on a new album this year, and whether this will be featured, however you can download Rhymefest‘s “El Che” on the link below. You can also watch the new video for Rhymefest – Mermaid on the video player here.
It’s not typically Hip-Hop, but the response I’ve had from Pendulum has always been good. Being a fan myself, I wanted to share their recent competition to remix the single “The Island” where the lucky winner will earn a major record release via Warner Brothers Records. Pendulum were previously featured on Hip-Hop Kings with the single “Witchcraft” which was well received by readers. To listen to the new Pendulum album “Immersion” you can click on the link provided below. To enter the Pendulum Remix competition, please visit the following link to read the terms and conditions and submit content.
To celebrate the release of Ruste Juxx‘s latest album “Adamantine” I have the video for the single “24 Karate Flow” which features French-based act called 34 Click. Adamantine has been released through Duck Down Records, and is available through all good digital and retail outlets. U.K producer Endemic has been credited for the albums production, which also features Skyzoo, Cyrus Malachi, and Torae amongst others. You can purchase Ruste Juxx‘s “Adamantine” through Amazon on the link below, and you can also watch the official video for Ruste Juxx x 34 Click – 24 Karate Flow on the video player here.
It’s true that the Hip-Hop world runs in over-lapping and well-formed circles. For most breaking into those circles can only be a dream, and certainly an accomplishment if achieved. Rather than joining or merging within the circles, a brand new circle has been formed. YTV (Yandle The Vandal) and Henry Tha 8th have collaborated to form “Freedom Of Press” for their new project “Yet To Verify”. I previously blogged the information on Hip-Hop Kings, but wanted to follow with an official review.
As Jaja Soze‘s status continues to grow within the U.K Hip-Hop scene, the PDC Entertainment founder recently sat down with Spotlyte TV for a brand new interview. Jaja Soze is asked about the most recent album “Illegal Download” and of course the infamous “Grime Bully” track and the reasoning behind that. Jaja Soze then goes on to speak about the book Street Boy, and the success it’s had in retail since it’s release. You can look forward to a Jaja Soze interview with Hip-Hop Kings in the near future. Also check out Illegal Download by clicking the link below. In the meantime you can watch the Jaja Soze interview with Spotlyte TV below.

U.K Hip-Hop artist Doom Man will be releasing his brand new single “Beam Me Up Scotty” on Friday 24th September. I have managed to get permission to stream the track from Doom Man, who previously released the video trailer to begin promotion of the single. Hip-Hop Kings readers will be familiar with Doom Man from his single “Don’t Talk To Me” and of course his excellent remix of Kanye West’s “Power” for the “Fire In The Booth” series. I’ll update this entry with the iTunes purchase link when it becomes available. Doom Man will also have a new single released in November called “Celebrate Life” which was debuted on DJ Target’s show on 1xtra. You can listen to Doom Man – Beam Me Up Scotty on the player below.
