Cappo – Psychological Warfare [Music]

The regular viewers of Hip-Hop Kings should be familiar with U.K Hip-Hop artist Cappo, after an extensive promotional campaign with Endemic for their joint E.P “The Needle Drop”. Cappo was the lyricist behind the project, and the collaboration inspired plenty more artists within the music work to team up for full projects. Cappo has now released a brand new track called “Psychological Warfare” and will be featured on “Genghis” which is the full length album available in April. Hip Hop Chronicle Interview with Statik Selektah [Video]

The Hip Hop Chronicle has interviewed Statik Selektah during his time in the U.K for an exclusive chat about the DJ’s career. Quizzed about his “Thrill Is Gone” track, Statik Selektah revealed that Kanye West had a song on that beat for the 808’s Heartbreak album, however it was finally snapped up by Styles, who advised only Talib and Bun B should rap over the beat. News about “All In A Days Work 2″ with Saigon was also mentioned, and you can watch the answer in the Statik Selektah interview below.

Soul Mafia Prepare Release Of MK Ultra [Upcoming Releases]

Soul Mafia have previously been featured on Hip-Hop Kings with their very popular video “I Cant Get Enough” which received a positive response. Their music has been described as a fusion of Hip-Hop, rock and soul, and the outcome can only be identified with Soul Mafia. Thanks to MixtapeSpotlight.Com for introducing me to Smiler. A twenty-three year old from South East London is another U.K Hip-Hop artist making his mark on the scene. Smiler has previously collaborated with Stylah “Craziest Single” which was a huge hit within the underground world. Smiler has now recorded a freestyle for DJ 279 which has been held back until now. This is a great example as to why Hip-Hop has gone global. From the Bronx to the boardrooms, K.I.N.E.T.I.K has teamed up with Jamieson for their new collaborative single “It Aint Hard To See”. K.I.N.E.T.I.K is now planting his mark in London, with Jamieson now residing in New York. The video has been directed by Eif & Los for Smoking Gun music, and is creative in more ways than one.
