D League haven’t technically returned since they’ve never really left. Working hard in South Florida and across the whole state, the duo have released their new video for Run This Town Remix directed by DRE Films. Demo proves visually why he’s considered one of the best things out at the moment, and certainly gives Jay-Z and Kanye West a run for their money on the original. Iron Braydz: Peace, my name is IronBraydz, I’m from North West London, I’m a recording artist, producer, radio presenter and just recently started a career in playwritting.

U.K Hip-Hop artist Skandal has announced news about the launch of Hunger Pains, at The King Apparel Pop Up Store in London. Guest artists on the evening include Little Dee, P Money, DJ Gone and Mystro amongst others, and the evening is generously giving away free drinks! To bring the end to 2009 in style, we’ve literally just received the new single by Wiley called “She Likes To”. The track is available to purchase on download only, and will be released this week. “She Likes To” features the creme of the U.K talent which includes Ice-Kid, Wringley, Ghetts, Scorcher, Wretch 32, J2K, Chipmunk, Bashy and Griminal. The mega-mix is a good representation of the grime scene and the talent that lies within the U.K Hip-Hop game. You can listen to Wiley – She Likes To on the player below.
This was something I was honestly not expecting to see or hear. Canibus has teamed up with labelmate DZK for another pop at Eminem called “Airstrike”. DZK has become an Internet legend and notorious for his soundclick profile. Whether the diss towards Eminem was necessary is unknown to me, and I’m not sure whether it’s even going to prompt any beef between the two artists. You can be the judge of this one. You can listen to Canibus x DZK – Airstrike (Eminem Diss) on the player below.
Hip-Hop is coming out of ears from the man known as Cashis. We don’t mind because the music is great, and everything that Cashis does has that little extra which shows why he’s a well respected, and top selling artist. The new single from Cashis is called “What It Do” and it’s part of the media frenzy of new tracks and freestyles that have been coming our way recently. As always, check out the track and prepare for more to come. You can listen to Cashis – What It Do on the player below.
Showing blatant love for Hip-Hop legend J Dilla, QuESt returns with a new track called “CoSign” which is a remake of the original J Dilla track “Mythsysizer” which was featured on the “Jay Stay Paid” project. Word on the web suggests that “CoSign” will be featured on QuESt’s new “The Reason” project, which has no release date yet, however that can not be confirmed. You can listen to QuESt – CoSign on the player below.
Once again we love to bring great underground Hip-Hop music to the forefront of the blog. This time an upcoming artist called Thad Reid has decided to release a track off the “Paid Time Off” E.P called “Suffer Too”. The track has been doing very well on the college/radio circuit, so we were approached the host the single. You can actually download the Paid Time Off E.P for free on the link below.
Thad Reid’s “Suffer Too” is just a glimpse of what can be heard on the full E.P. With a strong radio campaign in the works, and the help from Double-J and Foundation Media, I honestly expect to see a lot more of Thad Reid as we approach 2010. You can listen to Thad Reid – Suffer Too on the player below.
Nixon Nyce is back in the studio with his new track Russian Roulette Remix. The mystic-type beat is complemented with a very smooth delivery from Nixon Nyce, who is continuing to build his hype following the previous release of the mixtape “I Can Only Be Me”. Russian Roulette is of course, remixed from Rihanna’s new single which arguably isn’t as good as the Nixon Nyce version.
The new single Russian Roulette Remix is rumoured to be featured on an upcoming project which is currently untitled. Nixon Nyce has hinted it will be released in 2010, but further details are currently unknown. You can listen to Nixon Nyce – Russian Roulette Remix on the player below.
