Italian/Canadian rap mogul Carvelli is constantly working hard. We previously hosted the single with labelmates TQ And Rasheeda called “WHOA” and we’re now proud to host the video for the single. WHOA contains women, alcohol and party music. So what else could you ask for? We also interviewed Carvelli to speak about the rappers upbringing, and his involvement in other areas of the Hip-Hop world. You can read the interview HERE. You can watch the video for Carvelli x TQ x Rasheeda – WHOA on the player below.
Rising Son is known for taking a song, and quite simply making it better. A lot better. The same can be said about the new song which remixes the Chris Brown and Lil Wayne – Transform Ya. The highly catchy song is the perfect demonstration to show why Rising Son is considered one of the best lyricists in the U.K Hip-Hop scene, and brings injustice to his status compared to Chris Brown and Lil Wayne. If talent was money then we’d be listening to a billionaire. You can listen to Rising Son x Lil Wayne – Chris Brown – Transform Ya Remix on the player below.
African Born, American Influenced and U.K inclined, is the best way to describe Killan Ateh. The London-based rapper has already performed various shows in London, Brighton and Glasgow released his previous single “It’s On” in November, and Hello is the bonus track which has warranted a video. His label V Style Media Group are pushing Killan Ateh hard, and we’re expecting him to make a massive impact to the U.K Hip-Hop scene in 2010. You can watch to Killan Ateh – Hello on the player below.
I’d like to personally thank Joel (2dopeboyz) and James (Decguin) for introducing me to Bekay five or six years ago. Since then both myself and my friends have been keeping tabs on Bekay’s career, and we’re delighted to preview his new video for the single Bloodsport. The video is the start of the promotion for his new album “Hunger Pains” which so far sounds incredible, and will be rivaling the other “top albums” for the 2009 album of the year. The concept of the video is to pay homage to LL Cool J’s “Momma Said Knock You Out”. You can watch Bekay – Bloodsport on the video player below.
We just got to this one in time. I’d shake the hand of the inventor of Twitter, as an unexpected tweet came our way, promoting the release of the WEB and I.D.e.A new album “God’s Favourites”. The title is quite egotistical, so instantly I became impressed and decided to listen to the music. After twenty seconds of the intro I was certain this is something I was going to puchase on the 17th November which is the release date. We’ll have some music coming soon, however in the meantime check the link below for a full album stream link, and you can also view the artwork and tracklisting for WEB and I.D.e.A – God’s Favourites below.

I’ve you’ve any connection with the New York rap circuit, then you’ve most definitely heard of Donny Goines. Before we lost the last five years worth of Hip-Hop content and music, we featured Donny Goines on the blog which was met with a huge response. Good*Fella Radio, as part of their Hip-Hop series, have met with Donny Goines for an interview with the station. The underground rapper speaks on his new project “The Breakfast Club” and how he was inspired to become recognised locally, and nationally. It must be a constant catch-22 situation for Illa J. Hailed as an incredible upcoming artist in the Hip-Hop world is quite the tag for anybody to be proud of. However there’s a shadow of a legendary older brother in the form of J Dilla assosiated with Illa J everywhere he goes. In all credit to Illa J he works constantly to identify himself as a unique recording artist, and pays homage to his older brother in the new album Yancey Boys. Using beats exclusively by J Dilla, Illa J releases a soulful and heartfelt release to keep J Dilla’s name alive.
Iron Braydz is steadily establishing himself as a major player in the U.K Hip-Hop scene. Already performing live with the likes of Immortal Technique, RZA and Saigon, Iron Braydz is going all out with the new single “Golden Legacy”. News surfaced that the single is the first official release from the new record “Devil May Cry” which is due in 2010, and is a project rather than an album. Iron Braydz self-describes Devil May Cry as “Hardcore Hip-Hop” and is set to feature U.K and U.S artists. You can listen to Iron Braydz – Golden Legacy on the player below
