Souls of Mischief Announce U.K and European Tour in 2012 [News]
Known primarily for their critically acclaimed album “93 Til Infinity”, Souls of Mischief are once again returning to the U.K and Europe for a brand new tour starting in March 2012. Hip-Hop Kings previously interviewed Souls of Mischief during their stop in Leeds in 2008, as part of the “Montezumas Revenge Tour” (video below) and Tajal, Opio and Phesto are once again set to amaze crowds with their live performances. As part of the Hieroglyphics crew, and working alongside Hiero Imperium Records, Tajal has recently released his collaborative project “Machine Language” with Sleeprockers. Opio has today released his new album “Vultures Wisdom Vol 2″ and Phesto’s new album “Background Check” drops on March 13th. Slaughterhouse New Album “Welcome To Our House” [Upcoming Releases]
Slaughterhouse New Album Welcome to: Our House
The news has arrived which the Hip-Hop world has been waiting for. Slaughterhouse (Joe Budden, Royce Da 5’9, Joell Ortiz and Crooked I) have announced their debut album on Shady Records will be titled “Welcome to: Our House” and be available to fans on May 15th 2012. Slaughterhouse will support the album release with a 43-day tour across America. We are expecting European and U.K dates to follow afterwards. We do not have the official artwork for the album yet (watch this space) and no track listing or guest production has been confirmed. The Doctors Orders Present MED and Black Milk Live In London [News]

One of the most successful Hip-Hop nights returns in 2012 with a live event which features MED (Stones Throw Records) and Detroit based Black Milk. Support will come from the likes of the Piff Gang and of course the Spin Doctor on the 1s and 2s. The venue is Cargo on Rivington Street in London, and doors open from 7pm – 11pm on Thursday 26th January. The Grouch Announces East Coast Tour [News]
A collaboration with “The Rebelution” will see The Grouch and Pep Love from Heiroglyphics embark on an East Coast tour throughout January. With a total of fourteen live dates in a very tight schedule, fans of The Grouch and Heiroglyphics will be treated to some new material, and of course some classics in their set lists. The tour starts on January 11, 2012 in Killington, VT and ends in Nashville, TN on January 28, 2012. You can view the full list of tour dates below.

Huddersfield and West Yorkshire Hip-Hop ambassador Jack Flash has a brand new video for his single “Steamrolling”. The track was produced by Wizard, and the video has been directed and edited by Paul Cockcroft, and with a massive reaction in the first couple of days, Jack Flash is successfully building the desired buzz ahead of his forthcoming album “Progression”. The album has been delayed until 2012, however we expect to see more promotional work (tracks and videos) ahead of the release. Talib Kweli Announces New Album "Prisoner of Conscious"
Released via his social media websites, Talib Kweli announced today he will be releasing a brand new album in 2012 titled “Prisoner of Conscious”. Details are very vague at the moment, however Talib Kweli also reiterated he wants to release a follow-up Black Star album as well. Difficulties behind the scenes have prevented a Black Star album from being released in 2011, however the latest statement will delight fans who can’t wait to hear new music from the legendary Hip-Hop MC. We will be following all the latest developments with Prisoner of Conscious and the Black Star album as they arrive.

Kidz In The Hall Announce New Album “Occasion” [Upcoming Releases]
DoubleO and Naledge (collectively known as Kidz In The Hall) have announced the release of their new album “Occasions” which will be available to fans in March 2012. I’ve been fortunate enough to listen to the album prior to the release, which has been supported by Red Bull and Adidas.
