Basic Vocab are a Miami-based outfit, and Like A Star is the third leak from the album after already hearing What They Want, and Prescription. Like A Star also features Jesse Boykins III who is one of many guest features on the new album. Basic Vocab – What They Want [Music]
Following the news that Basic Vocab are preparing their upcoming album “A Better Way” I have the new single called “What They Want”. This is the third leak from the new album, after the singles There You Are, and Prescription were leaked to the blogosphere in recent weeks. Basic Vocab Prepares New Album A Better Way [Upcoming Releases]
After mainstream recongition with “Come And Get It”, Basic Vocab return with their 2010 new album “A Better Way”. Released on April 13th 2010, Basic Vocab will feature Tanya Morgan’s Donwill and Jesse Boykins III. Produced mainly by Tony Galvin who has already worked with the likes of Trick Daddy and Trina, the twenty-one track LP is sure to continue their commercial reward for their hard work. Having being featured on 2DopeBoyz, OnSmash and HipHopDX, I’m anticipating a strong promotional campaign. We’ll have more information on the Basic Vocab – A Better Way project as it appears.

Basic Vocab – Prescription [Music]
After releasing their debut “The General Dynamic” in 2006, Basic Vocab have returned their brand new single Prescription. Basic Vocab will be releasing their sophomore album “A Better Way” in April 2010 which has primarily been produced by in-house producer Tony Galvin who has worked with T.I, Young Jeezy, Trick Daddy and Nelly. Prescription is the second leak from the album, and the three members (JL Sorrell, Mental Growth and Tony Galvin) hope the single will circulate as well as the previous “There You Are”.
