I wanted to share the new video from Chicago-based The Skywalkers titled “The Mashup (Live)”. HHK fans will be familiar with The Skywalkers’ crew member A-Hi who has been featured on the website throughout 2014. The brand new video crosses several musical genres, and was filmed at the SoundScape Studios in Chicago. Look out for plenty of more new music coming from A-Hi and The Skywalkers in 2014. This is the so soulful release from Chicago rapper A-Hi titled “Skywalkers” and Hip-Hop Kings have the official video for the single too. A-Hi made his debut on HHK at the start of 2014 with the single “Carpe Diem”, and since we’ve seen the video for the track “Who Am I” as well. Credits to Lisa Movado and Isaiah Jones for the vocals, and look out for A-Hi’s recently released album (also titled Skywalkers) which features plenty of guest appearances. Making his return to HHK is A-Hi with the single “Who Am I”. Earlier this year we debuted A-Hi with the single Carpe Diem, and “Who Am I” is credited to A-Hi and South African producer Taylor Made. A-Hi speaks of the beautiful struggle and the chase towards your dreams. The video was shot in Los Angeles by Martin Kang and John Hua, and guest vocals from Isaiah Jones and Lisa Movado. Fans can download A-Hi’s project “Skywalkers” from the iTunes link listed above, and can watch watch A-Hi – Who Am I on the YouTube player below.
I was sent a new track from A-Hi today which I’m pleased to share. The single is “Carpe Diem” and A-Hi presents an excellent video to accompany the single. Produced by Ray White, the feel-good track has so far had a lot of support across the blogosphere with our friends at Hip Hop Life and Times also supporting the upcoming artist. Credits for the video go to Brian Beckwith, who visually portrays the motto of Carpe Diem (if you want it, then believe it, and seize the moment now) perfectly.
