Following the release of Jack Flash and Wizard’s album “Progression”, a brand new video has been uploaded on the official Jack Flash YouTube page for the intro track to the album. Credits go to Ash Pears for AshTV for the video, and of course WIzard has handled production which is consistent throughout the whole album. When I first heard DJ Premier and Bumpy Knuckles were working together for a brand new collaborative album I knew we were in for a treat. Introducing “KoleXXXion”, the new album will be released in assosiation with Gracie Productions. While DJ Premier is rocking SXSW, fans in New York City can look out for March 26th which is the official DJ Premier and Bumpy Knuckles album release party, hosted by Sway and Flavour Flav. Obie Trice Confirms Release of New Album Bottoms Up [News]

After a couple of years in the making, Obie Trice is finally ready to release his forthcoming album “Bottoms Up” which is his first release since his departure from Shady Records in 2008. Obie Trice’s “Bottoms Up” will be making the album available in April 2012, and will be through his independent “Black Market Entertainment”. The sixteen track album will feature guest verses and production from Eminem, Dr.Dre amongst many others (To Be Confirmed). Look out for further promotional for Obie Trice’s Bottoms Up in the forthcoming weeks.

Last month I posted a track from Calez called “Intermission” which had a great response from the Hip-Hop Kings readers, and now I’m pleased to share the brand new project “Kid With Raps”. The LP is made available for free download, and has been presented by RubyHornet and 2DopeBoyz who have supported Calez throughout the promotional campaign. The twenty year old underground Hip-Hop artist has caught the eye of many of the major blogs and tastemakers, and 2012 is set to be an exciting year for Calez. The track was produced by Wizard, and the video has been directed and edited by Paul Cockcroft, and with a massive reaction in the first couple of days, Jack Flash is successfully building the desired buzz ahead of his forthcoming album “Progression”. The album has been delayed until 2012, however we expect to see more promotional work (tracks and videos) ahead of the release.
