RELATED | MHz (Copywrite) ft Slug – Satisfaction
As I saw the lineup for Awkword’s new track I knew this was going to be epic. Go! features on Awkword’s upcoming album “World View” and features Joell Ortiz from Slaughterhouse, Slug from Atmosphere, and Maya Azucena. World View profits will be donated to a non-profit organisation called “Guns 4 Cameras” which has a moto of “eradicating street violence through the Hip-Hop inspired education and empowerment of our at-risk youth”. Fans can download the single to support on the link listed above. However, you can also listen to Awkword ft Joell Ortiz, Slug (Atmosphere) and Maya Azucena – Go! on the audio player below.

Coincidentally after a few hours of running through the Atmosphere discography a few days ago, I received an email with information about a brand new track titled “Bob Segar”. With Slug and Murs’ history of using real characters for a basis of their work (A Tribute To Mona Lisa / Christina Ricci / Rosie Perez) the individual in question (Bob Segar) certainty seems worth of an Atmosphere mention, and the song comes with news that Slug and Ant will be touring North America with “Slightly Stoopid” (further info coming soon). You can listen to Atmosphere – Bob Segar on the YouTube player below.
Following the release of the new MHz album, Copywrite has teamed up with Slug for the track “Satisfaction” and today marked the release of the official video. All the major blogs and websites have not only supported the video, but the MHz Legacy album which you can download by clicking on the link listed above. Please feel free to check the HHK archives for plenty of older Copywrite and Slug (Atmosphere) music, however you can watch MHz Legacy (Copywrite) ft Slug – Satisfaction on the YouTube player below.

I have a brand new single from Atmosphere ft Brother Ali, Carnage The Executioner and Haphduzn titled “It Ain’t The Prettiest”. There’s no news about a new Atmosphere album as of yet, however news is certain to surface as we progress through 2013. Making their debut on Hip-Hop Kings are Tank and Kimani, collectively known as “The Masterminds” who are a New York based Hip-Hop duo who have instantly grabbed my attention with their latest single “Fight Music”. Masterminds have called upon Murs and Atmosphere (Slug and Ant) for the single, which had the video go live today which is embeded on the Vimeo player below. Masterminds have also announced that their new album “Giant Antlers” has been made available for a “pay-what-you-like” price, however we are encouraging fans to contribute the recommended $8.00 (link above). You can watch The Masterminds ft MURS and Atmosphere – Fight Music on the Vimeo player below.
Earlier in the month I posted a leak from Atmosphere’s forthcoming album “The Family Sign” called “Just For Show”. Now Atmosphere have released the video for the single, which features a seemingly talented dog being unappreciated by his family. The Atmosphere video is credited with over 325,000 youtube views, and will raise the excitement of the forthcoming “The Family Sign” album which will be available from June 20th 2011 in the U.K. Also check the related links for a brilliant Atmosphere track with Aesop Rock called “Which Way Is Up” which will probably not be featured on “The Family Sign”. You can watch the new video from Atmosphere - Just For Show on the video player below.
Fans of Atmosphere (including myself) will be very surprised to see this collaborative track with Aesop Rock called “Which Was Is Up”. As we prepare to hear the new album “The Family Sign” which will be available in the forthcoming months, Atmosphere appear to have leaked the track which I imagine will NOT be featured on the album. In true Slug and Ant greatness, the track is extra special with a guest verse from Aesop Rock in a rare Atmosphere collaboration. You can listen to Atmosphere ft Aesop Rock – Which Way Is Up on the audio player below.
Atmosphere Shoutout to Hip-Hop Kings - http://bit.ly/fKrOJC
As Atmosphere plan to release their forthcoming album “The Family Sign” the official video for the single “She’s Enough” is now on youtube and making its rounds on the Internet. With over 150,000 youtube views, Slug and Ant are preparing fans for what is to be expected as another classic Atmosphere album. Promotion for the album starts in the U.K shortly, so watch this space for plenty more Atmosphere news, music and videos coming soon. I previously interviewed Slug and Ant which you can watch on the official Hip-Hop Kings shoutout on the youtube page listed above. You can also watch Atmosphere – She’s Enough on the video player below.
I make it no secret that Atmosphere are quite possibly my favourite Hip-Hop duo in the rap world, and the news that they’re releasing their forthcoming album “The Family Sign” made me happy to say the least. A brand new track from Atmosphere has been leaked called “Just For Show” and it’s highly thought it will appear on “The Family Sign” when the album is released later this year. Ant and Slug do what they do best, and this is just another appetiser for fans ahead of “The Family Sign” album release. You can listen to Atmosphere – Just For Show on the audio player below.
Earlier this week I posted the the news that Atmosphere were preparing the release of their next studio album “The Family Sign”. Hip-Hop Kings can now reveal the official artwork and tracklisting for Atmosphere‘s sixth full length album. To no surprise there are no guest features on the fourteen-track album, which appears to feature all brand new music from Atmosphere. The official release date for “The Family Sign” is April 12th 2011, and pre-orders will no doubt be taken soon from the official Fifth Element website. You can view the artwork (above) and track listing (below) for Atmosphere – The Family Sign below.
