Hip-Hop Kings are proud to announce that the iconic Sedgwick Avenue brand will be the companies primary sponsor for 2012. For Hip-Hop fans world-wide, the collaboration will see a number of joint ventures throughout the course of next year, including live events, competitions, exclusive music releases and much more to be announced throughout the early stages of next year.
For the historians amongst others, many will be aware that Sedgwick Avenue is widely regarded as the birthplace of Hip-Hop in New York City. In 2011 the Sedgwick Avenue Hip-Hop bar was opened in Leeds City Centre, and was the host to many memorable nights including Pete Rock, Jeru The Damaja, DJ Vadim, and also hosted the U.K battle event “Don’t Flop”. Sedgwick Avenue was also the location where Hip-Hop Kings hosted the official MF Doom after party towards the end of the year.
