Mirk And The New Familiars Sell Track To Jay-Z [News]
Pop/soul band Mirk And The New Familiars have recently produced, and sold a track titled “Crispy Benjamins” to rap mogul Jay-Z. Joshua “Mirk” Mirsky has been a longtime fan of Jay-Z, and working with him has been an experience he won’t forget. Anthony Rick who co-produced the track claimed that Jay-Z originally purchased the track for the Blueprint 3 album, however it didn’t make the cut. The song Crispy Benjamins will be used for a re-release. We will have the song available once it’s released.

Jay Z – Blueprint 3 – Empire State of Mind [News]
U.K rapper Sway called into DJ Mo-K‘s radio show “Speakerboxx” and informed listeners about a beat that was given to him for a collaborative track he was intending to use. Blueprint 3 has a track called “Empire State of Mind” and it appears the beat was initially given to Sway before Jay-Z used the beat for the album. You can watch the video below which is a recording of the conversation between Sway and DJ Mo-K.
