Elementz UK are looking for the next big B-Boy / B-Girl acts for a battle competition at the launch of the new Elementz club night which takes place at Rhythm Factory in Whitechapel Road, London on Thursday 26th April. This is a new quarterly event representing the traditional 4 elements of hip hop to full effect. Live performances on the night come from the likes of DJ Sarah Love, DJ 279, DJ Mr Thing, Caxton Press, Genesis Elijah and hosted by Mystro. Evidence new album ‘Cats & Dogs’ is out on Rhymesayers Entertainment and to celebrate the album and the Rhymesayers European Tour hitting London on November 7th, Hip Hop Kings has two Evidence t-shirts up for grabs.

Following Hip-Hop Kings’ work with Waka Flocka Flame, a second competition in as many months is available to unsigned MC’s, as Waka is in the search for the next biggest U.K Hip-Hop star. The winner will have the opportunity to release a single through Warner Bros, and the likes of MySpace and SBTV have joined forced to help promote the opportunity. To enter the competition, aspiring artists need to download the instrumental version of “No Hands” from the official Waka Flocka Flame MySpace (link above), and then upload their version to their profile titled “No Hands MySpace Comp” and complete the entry form on the competition profile page. Not only will the winner have a single released through SBTV, but also have a “Warm Up Session” through SBTV and a MySpace featured spot. The Doctors Orders Present Suite For Ma Dukes – A Tribute to J-Dilla Live in London [News]
Hip-Hop Kings and UK Hip Hop Events collaborate to give a pair of tickets away to an upcoming event in London. Presented by The Doctors Orders, “Suite For Ma Dukes” are celebrating the music and life of James “Dilla” Yancey who we all love and know as J-Dilla. Other live performances on the night will include popular speakers and spoken word artists including Bilal, Dwele, Illa J and Posdnuos. The event will be held on Friday 19th November at Plan B in London
