Cypress Hill Singer Sueing Rockstar Games [News]
A former backup singer for Cypress Hill is sueing Rockstar Games for $250 million in damages, after Rockstar used “him” in the video game GTA San Andreas. Michael “Shagg” Washington is claiming that Rockstar have modelled lead character Carl “CJ” Johnson exactly like him, after he gave a two-hour interview about life on the streets and gang culture. Michael “Shagg” Washington only came to realise this happened after his nephew told him about the game and character in July 2010. The plaintiff is sueing Rockstar for one quarter of their profits for the game, which is a staggering $250 million.
