Hip-Hop duo Dead Prez have announced that their upcoming album “Information Age” will be available digitally on 16th October 2012, and physically on 22nd January 2013. M1 and stic.man require no introduction, and the politically-minded artists speak the truths on the age of information as one of self awareness and development, both being essential in the struggle for self determination. It’s been EIGHT YEARS since Dead Prez released “Revolutionary But Gangsta” and the duo’s third studio album is sure to be well received by fans. I will be posting the official artwork and track listing as soon as received.

With over 12000 views since it was uploaded at midnight on September 3rd 2011, here is the video for Lowkey ft M1 (Dead Prez) and Black The Ripper for their collaborative track “Obama Nation 2″. Lowkey will be releasing his album “Soundtrack to the Struggle” on 16th October 2011, and Hip-Hop Kings previously released the track listing and artwork for the album. Soundtrack to the Struggle is one of the most anticipated U.K Hip-Hop released ever, and Lowkey has already leaked a number of tracks from the album which can be found in the Hip-Hop Kings archives, and look out for an official Hip-Hop Kings review coming soon. To celebrate the release of Chima Anya‘s forthcoming mixtape “Closure” which will be available to fans to download on August 19th 2011, here is a collaborative track with Soweto Kinch and Mr Mann called “And We Back”. The track was recorded before Mr Mann quit rap for religion, and of course Chima Anya has teamed up with Soweto Kinch for their high profile track “New Day“. The Hip-Hop duo are working on their tenth album ‘Information Age’. m1 spoke to Mikey T The Movie Star about another project.
“There’s a number of albums we’re working on, simultaneously. Being that we’ve been in this [industry] for a minute, we’re able to work on more than one project at a time. We’re also working with Stephen Marley on a project.”
M1 also revealed the stic.man is working on his second solo album.
Everybody knows the legendary Hip-Hop group Dead Prez, with their classic track “Hip Hop”. A new project from Adam F and DJ Fresh called WTF, has resulted in a collaboration with Dead Prez for a remake of the original classic, aptly titled “It’s Bigger Than Hip-Hop UK”. I’d like to introduce a group called “Miami Beat Wave” who are making their debut on Hip-Hop Kings with the single “This Is Life” which features Hip-Hop legends Dead Prez. Signed to SoFlo Entertainment, Miami Beat Wave are a producer trio, based in Miami, Florida, and have previously worked with the likes of Rick Ross, Ras Kass and Basic Vocab. Legendary Hip-Hop duo Dead Prez will be in the U.K on the 6th November for a live show at Koko, with support from none other than Klashnekoff and DJ MK.
