DefJam Rapstar and Atlantic Records Looking For The Next U.K Rapstar [News]
As we approach the new year, one of the biggest console games in 2010 is undoubtadly DefJam Rapstar. Hip-Hop artists from around the world have co-signed the game, and the U.K version has been hugely successful from a sales perspective. DefJam Rapstar have teamed up with Atlantic Records to search for the next biggest U.K rapstar, where players can submit their performances on the freestyle mode on the game’s official website. The first selection process will lead to regional qualifiers at HMV stores throughout the U.K, and an “8 Mile style” judging setup will be in place, where fans in the store vote for the winner. Everybody knows that DefJam Rapstar is one of the biggest urban console releases of 2010, and has been co-signed by the U.K’s Hip-Hop and Grime artists.
