DMC Online DJ Championship – The Worlds First Online DJ Championship [News]

The DMC Online DJ Championship

The originator of the legendary World DJ Championships DMC wouldn’t have thought the competition and brand would reach such a stage where it is today. The worldwide competition and annual event has reached new heights with the launch of the first Online DJ Championship. Regardless of skill or stature, any DJ can sign up, and the submitted filmed set will be shown in front of a global audience and the winner will have the opportunity to compete with their DJ heroes in the DMC World DJ Championships later in 2011.

The competition launched Feb 3rd, and is open from Feb 14th until March 3rd. The public will vote for the top 10, which will then be judged by the DMC World DJ Champions. You can watch the tutorial video or visit the official DMC website below.

DMC 2010 UK Final [News]

As we approach the final of the 2010 DMC UK Finals, U.K Hip-Hop heavyweight Klashnekoff and TY have been announced as the live performers on the evening. The o2 Academy will be the host on the 15th July for the evening, and tickets are available from £12.50 from a variety of websites. The DMC final will be hosted by INJA and Billy Biznizz and promises to be a night that Hip-Hop and DJ fans cannot miss. You can view the promotional flyer for the DMC 2010 UK Finals below.

DMC DJ Championship – 25th Year Anniversary [News]

The legendary DMC DJ Championships have reached a landmark 25 years of showcasing the finest DJ talent’s across the world. The world-famous competition has launched, and highlighted various careers including DJ Cash Money (1988 winner), DJ Cutmaster Swift (1989 winner) and three time winner DJ Craze (98,99,2000).

The popular heat-style arena tests opponents on their on-the-spot mixing and scratching abilities, much like freestyle battles amongst rappers. The 25th anniversary proves to be the biggest to date, with confirmed performers such as DJ Yoda, Q Bert, Rob Swift and Super-Jam. Hosted at indig02, competitors will be battling for fantastic prizes, along with their name shared amongst previous winners of the competition.
