As Hip-Hop Kings fans are aware, Plug 1 and Plug 2 from De La Soul will be releasing their forthcoming album “First Serve” on April 2nd 2012. We have another track from the project titled “We Made It” which is the final leak prior to the album release. Chemo is back and this time with a free mixtape for fans called The Adventures of Telemachus Vol. 2. Back in May 2011 I posted a track called Ferndale Road off Vol.1 (LINK) and since then, Chemo has been working with the likes of Mr Flex for the “Nothing to Prove E.P”, Tragedy Khadafi for the single “I Cried” and more recently Braydz and Kyza for the single “Scorpion Sting“. The Adventures of Telemachus Vol. 2 provides fans with another installment in the mixtape series, which ultimatly is promotion for Chemo’s album “In The Evening” which will be available later in 2012. As Hip-Hop Kings previously supported and reported, U.K Hip-Hop heavyweight SonnyJim released his latest project “The Psychonaut”and to add to his ever-growing discography, SonnyJim has teamed up with a number of highly rated produced to provide fans with “The Psychonaut Remixes LP”. Hip-Hop artist Cormega speaks on how his tribute track “I Made a Difference” to the Haiti benefit cause was created, which features Lil Fame (M.O.P), Stic Man (Dead Prez), General Steele and Redman. “I Made a Difference” is available via iTunes on 14th June via Sony / RED Distribution. Proceeds will benefit JPHRO (link for info – http://www.jphro.org) which was established by actor Sean Penn.
