It’s arguably the best Hip-Hop album of the year, and certainly the best that Eminem fans could expect as the official follow-up to the classic “Marshall Mathers LP”. Rap God was one of the singles leaked prior to the album release and received the most praise from the older generation of Eminem fans along with “Rhyme or Reason” from the Marshall Mathers LP2 record. Rap God has already accumulated over 10 million views and will firmly rate alongside the best of Eminem’s music in the years to come. As we prepare for the release of Eminem’s MMLP2 on 5th November 2013, Eminem has released a brand new single “Rap God” through his official YouTube Channel. The previous single/video Berzerk drew mixed reviews from old and new fans, as I’m sure Rap God will set to do as the song goes viral in the next few days. Eminem spits double time but general consensus is he’s failed to recapture the spirit of the original Marshal Mathers LP. You can listen to Eminem – Rap God on the YouTube player below.

Eminem has just completed performing at Leeds and Reading Festival as one of the headline acts, and during that time announced he’ll be releasing “MMLP2 (Marshal Mathers LP 2) later in 2013. Furthermore we have a brand new track from Eminem titled “Berzerk” which was released via his official Vevo page. Eminem, clearly influenced by 80′s Hip-Hop throughout the track has had a mixed reaction from fans, but has a number of references to some of HIS influences as a recording artist. “Been Public Enemy since ya’ll thought P.E was gym bitch”. The new Eminem – Survival single is taken from the upcoming “Call of Duty – Ghosts” game, and has quickly made its way around the Internet blogs and forums. Leaked a few hours ago, any new Eminem track generally creates questions about new albums and collaborations, however at the moment we can only report the single is exclusive to Call of Duty – Ghosts and to expect no new material from Eminem in the near future. Shady Records President Paul Rosenburg confirmed to Billboard.com this week that Eminem is “far into the process” of recording his untitled eighth studio album. He also noted “We fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013. He’s been working on it for some time. It’s safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we’re not exactly sure when. We’ve got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we’re trying to see what else lines up.”
Paul and Shady have a lot on deck in 2013 with Yelawolf’s sophomore album and 50 Cent’s “Street King Immortal”, both expected to be out in the first half of this year, so lets hope everything lives up to expectations!
