As we continue to support and promote Illus and his new project “Family First”, there’s a brand new video which features Apathy for the single “Forever”. Hip-Hop Kings fans will be aware that I fully support both artists, and the collaboration is one of my personal favourites on Family First which was funded by the phenomenon which is Kickstarter. I’ve posted a number of tracks and videos of Illus over the past couple of weeks, and fans still have the opportunity to download Family First from the download link above. Another official video from Illus to celebrate the release of his album Family First, for the single featuring Blueprint called “Extraordinary”. Illus collaborates lyrically and sonically with some of best emcees and producers in the business. Each emcee featured is also the producer of the track they appear on and this collaborative process is a first for any Hip-Hop project that I’m aware of. Hip-Hop Kings have previously posted the videos for the singles of “The Gift” and “Magical” which feautred J-Live. Following the news that Illus is releasing his album “Family First” (download link above), a new video has been released by Illus titled “The Gift”. With guest appearances from the likes of Blueprint and Ill Bill amongst others, Illus describes the importance of family and what really matters in life. Illus uses footage of his new-born son, along with tributes from the aforementioned artists over the DJ Johnny Juice produced track. Hip-Hop Kings recently posted the track “Magical” which features J-Live on the website, however you can watch Illus – The Gift on the youtube player below.
