Stylah - Treading Water

After Stylah released his 2010 album “Treading Water” the popular U.K Hip-Hop artist has released the second video for his single “Prologue”. This is a groundbreaking video where Stylah has managed to get TWENTY FIVE other rap artists to spit the lyrics of various parts of the song. The video is anticipated to be one of the best to conclude 2010, and a great way for fans to be quickly introduced to other artists. You can download Stylah‘s Treading Water from the link below, however you can also watch Stylah – Prologue video below.

Mr Sakitumi

Thanks to African Dope Records for sending this video over. I’d like to introduce Mr Sakitumi and his brand new video for the single “Imperial Basswalker”. The trip-hop-jazzy-feel for the track is something I think Hip-Hop Kings readers will enjoy listening to, and if anybody wants to remix or grab the mp3 for freestyle purposes let me know. The video is the work of “The Grrrl” and is something slightly different to say the least. You can watch the new video for Mr Sakitumi - Imperial Basswalker below.

DJ Critical Hype x Hip-Hop Kings Present – A Tribute to Eyedea [Free Download]

Ryan Maxwell • December 7, 2010 • Comments (7)
The Hip-Hop world was saddened to learn that on the 16th October 2010, underground rapper Eyedea passed away in his sleep. The Rhymesayers artist was a huge fan favourite, and to celebrate his life, DJ Critical Hype and Hip-HopKings.Com have released an exclusive mixtape, available for a free download.

The mixtape is a collection of Eyedea tracks, featured material, and also contains interview footage during the artist’s professional career. The highly emotional “Bottled Dreams” earns a place on the track listing, along with the new material from his 2009 album “By The Throat” with long-time friend and recording partner DJ Abilities. Long-serving fans will also be delighted to hear tracks from his first official album “First Born”, and some gems including collaborations with Aesop Rock and Slug from Atmosphere.

Rhymesayers recently put together a memorial for Eyedea which was very successful in remembering and paying tribute to Eyedea’s career. The Internet, and radio stations across the world have been brilliant in keeping the memory of Michael “Eyedea” Larsen alive, and the unofficial “Tribute to Eyedea” mixtape plans to do the same for many years to come. The mixtape is available for free download, and comes with the official artwork, designed by Umbrella Custom. You can view the artwork and download link for DJ Critical Hype x Hip-Hop Kings Present – A Tribute to Eyedea below.
