Rumours have surfaced tonight following Dipset member Camron’s no show on stage at gig at Kentish Town Forum. Camron has flown over to the U.K for his first show in the capital in ten years, and fans who traveled from all around the U.K were left disappointed when at 10:30pm, it was announced he would not be performing. Fans at the show have rushed the stage in protest and various rumours surrounding the reasons are being circulated on Twitter. Camron was seen sharing a photo with Tim Westwood on Instagram (above) prior to tonight’s show. When we have some more facts we’ll update you as soon as possible. However, we have a fan video taken from @RealLostBoy Instagram page of fans rushing the stage below.

As HHK previously reported, two of the biggest brands in Hip-Hop history have collaborated on a joint project that had fans in anticipation one year before its release. Wu-Tang Clan and D-Block (Wu Block) was released on 27th November 2012, and was a joint venture between the two groups, arguably two of the most recognised and talented groups we’ve ever witnessed in Hip-Hop history. Fans of the U.K will be delighted to hear that Wu Block will be performing in London on Tuesday 12th January 2013, and “The Garage” in London will be host to Ghostface and Sheek Louch who will be representing their individual groups. Tickets can be purchased from the link above, where I’ve also listed the official event flyer. You can listen to Wu Block – Stick Up Kids on the youtube player below.

In addition, a number of products including the NBA 59FIFTY, 9FIFTY Snapback and 9FORTY will be on sale amongst others. HHK will be visiting the store to capture some footage of the event, so say hello to the camera when you see us. You can view the official New Era website on the link listed above.

There aren’t a lot of rappers that can claim to have sold out two venues in a matter of days, a feat usually reserved for heavyweights of the hip hop world, but Joey Badass and his Pro Era collective have been making massive waves in the hip hop world in previous months.
Despite being only 17, Joey Badass took to the stage like he had been doing it for years. Joey’s chilled flow was given some verbal energy from CJ Fly and Kirk Knight with lesser known members of the group keeping the crowd hyped. He and Pro Era kept the party like atmosphere going for over 90 minutes and brought the gig to an end with an impromptu freestyle and a second helping of ‘Survival Tactics. Their stage presence was one I can only compare to that of the Wu Tang Clan which is hardly surprising considering their ‘golden era’ sound and size of the collective.
Recently being co-signed by RZA of the Wu Tang Clan only affirms the talent that this group have. The Pro Era mix tape, announced for December 21st, is definitely one to look out for and will hopefully see some production from RZA. With the massive success of their, albeit small, UK live debut, I wouldn’t bet against seeing Pro Era in the UK again very soon.
Hip-Hop Kings are proud to team up with Educated Guests and Vision Music Promotion to give two fans the opportunity to see Shabazz The Disciple LIVE in London. Shabazz will be performing at Brixton Jamm on 31st October 2012 (this Wednesday) with support from Cyrus Malachi, Jon Phonics, Datkid (Split Prophets) and Baileys Brown. With co-signs from the likes of GZA, DJ Premier and many others, the Wu-Tang Clan affiliate Disciple is ready to tear down the London stage by performing tracks from “Death Be The Penalty” and “Crime Saga”. To enter the competition, simply post a comment below, or Tweet (@HHKDotCom) or drop a comment on the official Hip-Hop Kings Facebook page (link above) stating your favourite Shabazz The Disciple record. The winner will be chosen at midnight tomorrow (October 30th) and will win TWO free tickets to see Shabazz The Disciple on Wednesday 31st October. Participants must be 18+ and be able to make their own travel arrangements to, and from the venue.
